BERALB ShA is a registered company in Albania as a legal entity with the decision of the Tirana District Court in 2001, with the following object of activity:

To develop, construct and modernize the mining industry Albania, to conduct geological and mining studies and activity of importing and exporting in general.
To perform any operation in trade and financial related to its object directly or indirectly.
To open new activities, the creation of new enterprises and participation in other undertakings inside and outside the country without prejudice to the object of the company.

BERALB is registered in Albania as a company pursuant to the obligations arising from the adoption of the law nr.8761, dated 02.04.2001 “On approval of the “BOT” Concession Agreement between the Ministry of Public Economy and Privatization and the company based on law Turkish right “BER-ONER” for concession with a 30 year term for mining facilities that include several objects of the state company Albbaker as Munelle, Lak Roshi, Karma Copper Mines, copper enrichment plant Fushe Arrez, etc.

Our history

We are transferring the copper concentrate to the storage area in Fllaka Durres. Beralb Sha has brought to the company and to the country a big profit by exporting copper concentrate all over the world.

Human Resourses

At Munella, Lak Roshi and Karma-2 Mines and Fushe Arrez plant, so far, are employed 40 qualified specialists, who serve in the activity of our facilities and more than 50 technicians with professional high school degree for all the professions related to the mining activity. Most of the workers are with high school education. From the graph, is revealed the increase in the number of the people employed at BERALB during the last years. BERALB Sh.A is the main provider of the employment in the Puka Area. BERALB support to the population of the area, is not only connected with the company activity as employee, but also by working as sub contractor in different auxiliary activities, such as transport of the concentrate, construction of roads, and other objects needed for the mining activity. Beralb owns the mining rights on copper ore bodies in Albania with calculated geological reserves of about 14 million tons of copper ore. This value will be increased further with new mining permits to about 17 million tons, which are under the approval process. By the end of 2016, the company will increase the extraction capacity, to 850 thousand tons of copper orewith an average grade of 1.5 % Cu,(for its objects under concession agreement and the other objects with mining permits), and intend to extend its activity in all copper objects in Albania.

Our Management

The Headquarters of BERALB are in the capital city of Albania, in Tirana where are the main offices of the Management Team and the administration staff. The company is organized with four other administrative points where is developed the exploration, mining, and processing activity. Copper dressing plant of Fushe-Arres and in three mines Munella, Lak Roshi and Karma-2 with headquarters are in Tirana. The company is organized with three other administrative branches where exploration, mining and processing activity are subject of development.
